about

The one song on this record written entirely by Marc, and originally demoed in his bedroom in south London. An attempt to get the feel of 70s and 80s protest punk, but apply it to the 1882 general election. A sort of Red Wedge for the 19th century.

Obviously "votes for women" was not part of the Whigs manifesto in those days, they were actually terrified of universal suffrage, but we re-wrote history to suit us better. Excellent solo from Andrew and harmonies from Jez.
